CASH, VERNA JEAN (RICHARDS), 61, of Louisville, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2009. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist church where she had devoted 17 years as a church secretary. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon E. Richards. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Wendell R. Cash; sons, Steven and Michael Cash; a daughter, Kimberly J. Robb; her mother, Irene Richards; a brother, Joseph Richards; sisters, Linda Richards and Marietta Raizor; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Alyssa, Nathan, Hannah, Grant, Zoe Jean and Jolie. Her funeral service will be held noon Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hopewell Baptist Church.
